User-friendly features for mobile-first users
The app opens on a personalized feed of all the content and channels a user is subscribed to. Clicking on an item will open a view where users can read, comment, like, and share or open content in the mobile browser.
Users can see notifications, including @mentions and broadcasts in the Notifications tab. A badge count shows the number of unread notifications, and any notifications marked for follow-up appear in the “Read Later” sub tab.
Responsive Web View
The responsive web view provides an experience and functionality similar to a standard mobile browser, allowing users to navigate to channels, spaces, and pages without ever leaving the app.
Users can select a list of channels to get quick access to updates, content, or resources without having to follow the entire channel or receive all notifications.
Users can navigate the alphabetized, fully searchable people directory and quickly access member information or contact them directly.
Users can see what digital workplace content has been added or edited so they’re always aware of what’s happening.
Users can mark items for follow up by clicking on the “Read Later” icon in their feed or notifications tab.
Users can manage email notifications for desktop and mobile experiences, as well as push notifications for the mobile app.
Within MS Intune, administrators can enable access to the Igloo Mobile app from the Google Play and iTunes stores and push the app to managed devices.
The app uses the same authentication model as the desktop experience, supporting Igloo authentication, SAML, or LDAP.
The Igloo Mobile app can run on iOS Version 10 and above and Android Version 7 (Nougat) and above.
